In The Days of Our Lives we meet some fascinating and creative folk and take a look at what their typical day holds. Far from being about the mundane, it is a celebration of what it takes to juggle the day-to-day with big ideas, a successful business and a full home life. It’s about keeping all the balls in the air – what is important and what isn’t. It’s about (extra)ordinary moments that fill our every day.
This week we get a glimpse into a day in the life of Carla Bonner. While you probably already know her as Steph Scully from Neighbours, there are many more strings to Carla’s bow. She is the author of Hook, Line and Sink Her, has a blog and is a passionate anti-bullying advocate. Carla is also a mother of two (Harley and Jyhe) and involved in several charities including the Women’s Cancer Foundation.
This is a day in Carla’s life.
It all starts with a delicious coffee made with my ROK Coffee Machine.
Off for an early morning pilates session. I love to get it done super early so its done and exercise is taken care of.
A juice a day consisting of kale, ginger, carrots, cucumber and beetroot – a good contribution to optimum health.
Energised and brain in motion it’s now time for a bit of study and work on my various projects. I’m currently working on the adaption of my book Hook, Line and Sink Her, to a TV series. Stay tuned!
Off for my facial at Erase in Malvern. They are divine and completely on top of their game, they know skin!
And here I am, it’s actually been a massive day to get to this point. Grateful to Miss China Cosmos Pageant for donating all proceeds of tonight event to WCF.
Ahhh I love the feeling of giving myself to a very worthy cause… g’nite all, tomorrow will be a very different day xxx
