It’s been a heartbreaking week in our household. The type that sharply shifts everything into focus and smacks you with a new perspective.
But through it all, I learnt a big lesson – that it’s easier to notice the sun drenched, glittery moments than the mundane ones. But when they disappear, you notice it the most.
So, savour the mundane. The hanging out washing. The sweeping up crumbs. The hustling of kids into the car. And hope that the ordinariness of these moments will always fill your days.
