After meeting Gok, Target invited me instore to check out their new collection and style a couple of outfits. While I’ve always loved Tarjays basics, I was super impressed with some of the separates in their Hot Options and Free Fusion ranges. In fact, the hardest part was coming up with just two outfits!
A Short Story
This dip dye shirt was the first piece I knew I had to have and is actually now one of my fave pieces in my wardrobe. I’ve been wearing it a ton – yes, sometimes even going for double denim! I also the print clash of teaming it with these pretty crepe shorts.

Gritty Pretty
I found this Gunners top on the sale rack for just $10. Score! It takes me back to 1993 – in a good way! I then decided to create an outfit around it. So, I stuck to a predominately monochrome palette and chose this striped, flared skirt, which is one of those pieces that will work just as hard with a band tee as it does with a more dressy top.

Skirt: Hot Options
