With the sun creeping back, I’ve started thinking about warm weather dressing. Last summer I had a belly full of baby, so it’s almost like I have two seasons of shopping to catch up on – or that’s the excuse I’m sticking to!
While it’s hard to miss the amount of neon around at the moment, I’m over that trend before it’s started. Instead, I’m curating the type of wardrobe splashed across Megan Park’s latest look book. The key pieces I’ll be chasing are:
- Separates (rather than my usual devotion to summer dresses) for a print-on-print love in.
- Layers of necklaces – or as Megan so perfectly puts it, ‘bowerbird neck armour.’ Who wants one statement piece when you can wear them all?
- Languid, easy silhouettes.
- Bold, print pants will become my trans-seasonal mainstay.
What does your summer wardrobe need? Where will you be shopping?
