In August, Gucci is launching a range of sustainable eyewear made from eco-friendly materials.
The range consists of four styles in an innovative acetate that has a higher percentage of natural ingredients than traditional frames. Plus, two extra styles made from a castor-seed oil derived material which is a clever alternative to the usual petroleum-based plastic.
By embracing sustainability into their manufacturing process, Gucci proves that thinking green isn’t just for hippy-dippy brands. Every business needs to be changing tack. Pronto.
