Welcome to Home Time. This month, I’ve rounded up a whole bunch of interiors finds that suit all budgets and all styles. So, let’s jump straight into it!
The big news this month is the launch of Kmart’s impressive living range. Last week I went in store to check it out and people were literally walking out with trolleys of the stuff!
Kmart have nailed a range that is smack bang on-trend yet also ridiculously affordable. Think Acapulco Replica Outdoor chairs for $39, side tables for $29, cushions starting at $9, or my pick of the bunch – a spotty jute floor rug for $29. Serving up homewares, furniture and accent pieces for indoors and outdoors, Kmart’s new range is one to watch.
AURA by Tracie Ellis
With sunny days and springtime just around the corner, AURA by Tracie Ellis is bringing a little colour onto the scene. Prints are graphic and bold in a contrasting palette of melon, mint and violet. You can check out all of AURA’s colourful goodness here.
Country Road is serving up an understated simplicity. Taking a pared back aesthetic they focus on beautiful sculptural pieces and cool tones that are balanced with copper, timber and marble. You can seem more here.
Hale Mercantile Co
At the moment, I’m having a full blown love affair with the raw beauty of linen – and as far as I’m concerned, the best in the biz is Melbourne-based Hale Mercantile Co. For their latest collection, Hale Mercantile Co have collaborated with super talented Norwegian photographer and stylist, Line Kay to capture these beautiful images. Swoon!
Alisa and Lysandra x Forty Winks
Forty Winks has launched an exclusive four piece bedroom suite – The Asta – that they have designed exclusively with renovation twins, Alisa and Lysandra.
“When designing the suite, we set out to create inspiring pieces that were unique, something that hadn’t been seen before. We wanted to stay true to ourselves and with what we believe represents us as designers.” said Lysandra.
Australian made, this Scandinavian inspired suit combines the rawness of timber with eye-catching rose gold details. It is available nationally for a limited time.
The Pet Lamp
Contemporary by design, the Pet Lamp is created by Spanish Industrial Designer, Alvaro Catalán de Ocón, using ancient artisan textile traditions. Each lamp is unique, from the colour, pattern and cord selected. The idea behind the Pet Lamp grew from Alvaro’s desire to resolve the issue of plastic waste contaminating the Colombian Amazon. You can find the Pet Lamp at Safari Living.
