By now, you’ve probably figured out that I like my beauty products at the more natural end of the spectrum. I like them to go easy on unnecessary chemicals and artificial additives – but still perform. Lately, I’ve discovered a few new good-for-you beauty products that I wanted to share with you:
Dusty Girls Makeup
While I’ve been using mineral makeup for well over 10 years, I’ve only recently discovered Dusty Girls, a range that’s made here in Australia. Perfect for sensitive or acne prone skin, as well as anyone looking for a healthier alternative to their favourite cosmetics, this natural blend of makeup lets your skin breath and is free from chemicals that can clog pores or irritate. I’ve been using their:
- Guava Pink Natural Vegan Lipstick – Free from synthetic dyes, parabens and coal tar derived colours, this lippy is a pretty pastel hue.
- Going Buff Natural Mineral Eye Shadow – Lightly pressed with soft pink and subtle golden tones, this eye shadow is perfect for an easy, everyday look.
- Pink Ladies Natural Mineral Blush – This delicate shade of pink gives just the right flush to cheeks. Plus, it contains Vitamin E for a smooth, even application and long lasting finish.
Swisse Kakadu Plum Brightening Serum
This little beauty of a serum protects your skin against environmental damage whilst brightening for a luminous complexion. Swisse Kakadu Plum Brightening Serum is also ideal for uneven skin tones and if you have pesky pigmentation. Plus it contains a good hit of nature’s most potent antioxidant ingredients, including Australian Native Kakadu Plum Extract, Vitamin B3, Licorice and Bearberry Extract.
Smith & Cult Nailed Lacquer
Smith & Cult isn’t just a good looker, this luxe range also ditches the nasty chemicals usually found in your polish while still delivering a long-wear finish. Featuring a 5-free formulation that skips Dibutyl Phthalate, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor, Smith & Cult Nailed Lacquer also delivers flawlessly smooth coverage and brilliant shine.
