Committee’s Kebab Lamp is a bit odd ball – and I love it just the way it is!

Created as an experiment in anti-design, each lamp stand is made by skewering a selection of found objects, antiques and other bit and bobs. Each year, they make just eight of these lamps and sell them exclusively though the Established & Sons gallery in London.

While they won’t be everyone’s taste, I think there is nothing better than a little humour in your home furnishings!

I saw a lamp similar to this but made of black miscellanea. I love that these are called ‘kebab’ lamps.

Lucinda – Can you remember who made the black lamps? Would love to see them…I loved the fact that were called ‘kebab’ too! In fact, it was what made me notice them in the first place…
Jennifer – Thanks so much lovely lady!
